The sterilizer is equipped with safety valve, which would automatically release while the pressure exceed 0.25mpa, and the power supply would directly be cut off while the temperature exceed 140 ºC. And also with over-current loading protection, safe and reliable.
How to Use:
1. Prepare the Substrate
* Choose materials like straw, sawdust, or compost.
* Adjust moisture to 60-70% and pack into heat-resistant bags.
2. Load the Sterilizer
* Place substrate bags evenly in the chamber.
* Add water to the reservoir and seal the chamber.
3. Sterilize
* Vent air from the chamber to ensure steam penetration.
* Heat to 121°C (250°F) at 15 psi for 60-90 minutes to kill contaminants.
4. Cool and Unload
* Let the chamber cool slowly to avoid damaging the bags.
* Release pressure and remove sterilized substrate bags.
5. Inoculate
* Cool substrate to room temperature.
* Add mushroom spawn in a clean environment and seal bags for incubation.
6. Sterilize Equipment
* Clean tools and containers, then sterilize them in the retort.
* Store sterilized equipment in a clean area.
